Weddings at Willy Bay Resort

Willy Bay Resort is now available as a venue for small wedding ceremonies of up to 50 guests. The Gazebo and grassed area beside the lake provide a glorious setting for a very special event which couples can share with family and friends. The venue can be booked for your special ceremony alone or you can hire the entire resort for your wedding ceremony and accommodation for you and your guests. Our ten beautiful rammed earth chalets can sleep a maximum of six persons and are equipped with all the comforts of home plus some. Although we do not have the facilities for wedding receptions, we are happy to recommend suitable venues nearby who specialise in catering for wedding receptions.

Even if you prefer to have your ceremony at one of the fabulous local vineyards or beaches instead, Willy Bay Resort is an ideal place to accommodate your wedding guests. Our spacious chalets are ideal for bridal party hair and make-up appointments and have fully equipped kitchens to cater for pre and post wedding get-togethers. Venue Hire Charges

$1200 - Wedding Ceremony only

$450 - Wedding Ceremony if booking five chalets or more

All set up costs including marquee, equipment, clear / tidy up, personnel etc are the responsibility of the person(s) making the booking, as are any damages or loss to Willy Bay Resort property.

Terms and Conditions: Reservations

Reservations will be regarded as provisional until such time as Willy Bay Resort has received a signed copy of the Wedding Venue Booking Form and Terms & Conditions together with a deposit of $200 being part of the value of the Venue fee. Willy Bay Resort reserves the right to release a provisional booking after 7 days in the absence of these conditions.

Deposit & Payment Terms

The balance of all accounts should be paid in full at check-in unless by prior arrangement. The Wedding Party or Organiser is responsible for supplying a valid credit card imprint when making the venue booking. This credit card will be charged accordingly for any damage or loss incurred to the Property incl. buildings, driveways, gardens, lawned areas, fixtures and the Gazebo.

Amendments to Guest Numbers

Approximate number of guests for the Wedding ceremony should be advised at time of booking. Exact numbers should be supplied no later than 48 hours prior to the  wedding ceremony.

Cancellation

The following cancellation charges apply to any confirmed reservation:

• More than 21 days prior to arrival – a $20 administration fee and refund of deposit paid.
• 14 Days prior to arrival - $50 administration fee and half of the deposit paid ($100).

Supervision of Children

Children under the age of 18 years should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Willy Bay Resort takes no responsibility for injury or loss whilst on the property.

Liability & Insurance

Willy Bay Resort has the appropriate insurance for public liability and personal injury, but will not accept responsibility for damage to buildings, fixtures and fittings, hired equipment, driveways, gardens, gazebo and lawn areas.
