Happy New Year to you all. We hope you survived the silly season and were able to enjoy a bit of time out with your loved ones. It certainly has been a busy time down south with visitors making the most of time off work over the Christmas and New Year period.
The good news is, if you were holding off on your getaway until later in the summer, the Margaret River Region is much more peaceful now that the crowds have dispersed! Still so much to see and do, lots of new wineries and restaurants, new shops in Margaret River and Dunsborough and, as always, stunning uncrowded beaches at which to relax and revive.
While it has been a very hot couple of weeks, remember it is always several degrees cooler than Perth down here. And at Willy Bay our rammed earth chalets are an amazingly cool repite from the heat of the day.
